Experience Maine's changing coast through art, science, and your senses.
"Sensing the Coast: An Art-Science Collaboration" is an immersive exhibition that transforms environmental data into interactive experiences of sound, sight, taste, and touch. Through contemporary art, scientific research, drone photography, and community engagement projects, visitors will explore Maine's coastal ecosystems in entirely new ways.
Featuring collaborations between artists, scientists, students, and community members, the exhibition translates real-world datasets from locations across the Maine coast into creative works that make science accessible, engaging, and experiential.
Join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, July 10 from 5–8 PM, featuring refreshments from Nibblesford and a special Artist & Scientist Talk from 7–8 PM.
