Snowy winters define the White Mountains — but they’re changing.

On January 7, join Appalachian Mountain Club researchers Dr. Sarah Nelson, Georgia Murray, and Dr. Jordon Tourville for a talk on snow persistence, alpine ecosystems, and what current research tells us about the future of winter in the Whites.

This event launches a six-part Sense of Place Speaker Series across the Northeast and will be hosted at the Glen House in Gorham.
