Saco’s Planning Department is hosting a Public Listening Session for the Saco Open Space Plan.

The City of Saco is beginning work on an Open Space Plan to help guide the future of the city’s parks, trails, natural areas, water resources, and other open spaces. The plan will also help inform future development and land-use decisions, balancing growth with the protection of the places and resources that make Saco special.

This event looks to explore the ideas and priorities shaping Saco’s open spaces, including — what open spaces, natural areas, and outdoor places are important to you in Saco?

This interactive workshop will include an introduction to the Open Space Plan and opportunities for community members to share their ideas, priorities, concerns, and experiences.
